I've missed you!

Hey all!
I'm sorry I've been away for so long. You know, life happened. This post is just announcing that I am now offering my Baby Shower invite now on etsy. You can still download the printable one on here where you write the information yourself, but this one I will actually replace the wording myself with the font I designed it in.

Featured Friday!

It's Featured Friday!

Erika Bennett is a dear friend and co-worker of mine. We both work in the publishing industry and also have a passion for fashion and beauty. Her blog features many themes such as beauty, fashion, recipes, traveling, and lifestyle. She gives great reviews on beauty products and awesome tips such as practical items to pack in your beach bag and what to pack for a weekend getaway. I've learned a lot from her and she has even inspired me to blog!

Check out her blog here!

Free Baby Shower Printable Invitation

Hello friends! See below my monthly free baby shower printable invitation. I designed this for my best friend's baby shower a while back and loved it so much I thought I would share with you special people! I removed all the info so you can write yours in! It's best to print on card stock.

This is how my friends looked printed (this is not her information). This should give you an idea of how the information should be placed.

This is what I offer you guys. Just write in your information. I hope your handwriting is better than mine!

Diy Mugs

So I've had this Martha Stewart craft paint for a while now, and I recently read on the back that you could use it on glass. Now, I love the paint even more! The mug with the polka dots I outlined with a porcelain 150 pen I purchased from amazon and then I used a circular sponge to make the dots. The "Day Wine" mug I used stick on letters and painted over them. Once the paint was dry I peeled them off with an x-acto knife.

I suggest pulling the letters off right after applying paint though, because I had to outline the letters with the knife since the paint had dried and made a seal between the stick-ons and the cup.

The espresso cup I just used painter’s tape. I pulled off the tape immediately after applying paint and let it dry. Any paint that leaked through I just scraped off with an x-acto knife.

The mugs are from target and the other one came from Publix. I'm sure you can purchase them much cheaper, but I was just so excited to paint some mugs I didn't shop around.

MoodBoard Monday!

Hello friends! It's Moodboard Monday! Each Monday I will post either a room I am putting together for myself, someone else, or a room under a certain budget.

I think mood boards are important when you are designing/putting together a room in your house or apartment. I think this helps especially when you are on a budget (aren't we all).

Todays moodboard is one I have made for my craftroom. We currently have an empty loft upstairs which I thought would work perfect for my craft room. We figured down the road it would be a playroom for future kids, but for now would work perfect for me to blog, paint, sketch, and maybe watch a movie or two, or three, or four... ;) Anyways enough of me not writing well, enjoy!
